Dr. Gordon is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine as well as an
Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is
board certified in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Internal Medicine.
He graduated cum laude with a degree in English from Dartmouth College and earned his
medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine, where he received multiple awards, including the
David and Gladys Drusin Memorial Prize for “scholastic achievement in medicine and those
intangible human qualities associated with a good physician.” He then completed his internship
and residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical
Center, where he received the A. Lee Winston, M.D. Ingersoll Rand Company Award. At the
culmination of his residency, Dr. Gordon was honored to serve as Chief Resident for the
Department of Medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in
Gastroenterology and Hepatology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical
Center, where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Gordon specializes in general gastroenterology and hepatology, and has advanced training in
inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. He also sees
patients for primary care.
